LOST
By

There are times in our lives, when we feel so profoundly lost, nothing seems to be all right, whatever that we do, or indulge in, turns out to be a bitter state of misery, and one wonders what it is to feel this way.
A feeling of gloom sets upon us, It isn't misery, nor pain,
It isn't anything happy or worth smiling at, sometimes the world we live in,
seems to heavy, one can say that there is a lot of turmoil in our minds, of what we do not know.
The feeling of being lost, feels like the departed, a lost feeling like something has been taken away from us, and there is no way of getting it back. All of our mighty efforts, and all of our strength put together cannot bring us what we want.
It happens with a lot of loved ones, most of them drift away, relationships fall apart, some die, the feeling of not having that person in our lives, after we went through a lot with them, makes us feel mournful, more than the pain.
All those who we call upon as family count...., The strength, the will, the energy, that resurrects our spirits when we are down, is only when we have a family that stays with us.
Family is not defined by blood, it’s those few people who walk with us through life, during the tough times, and during times of joy, those who really stick by us, who we call upon as friends, acquaintances or anyone, who really stands by, is how I would define a family.
This is what we believe in, and sometimes things do not work out between anybody, a friend, a lover, a father , brother, anyone, and when we lose someone we really love, Isn't quite digested on a level so profound with emotion. A grief stricken veil a drawn over our feelings, and that is the feeling of being lost.
The feelings we cannot tame, or do not have much control over, a feeling, that we term as lost, befalls upon us.
The purpose of self existence, doesn't really feel right, a funny confusion prevails over our minds, when we lose someone, the fact that they ever existed stands strong, it's a feeling immaculately mournful, not because the person doesn't exist anymore, but because they are not with us, for our own reasons, they either left us, or changed over time, acceptability issues, death and a lot more.
In short the feeling of being Lost is stuck in our minds, our spirit seems disturbed, a weird aura that represents around us, which says "Negative" all around and that isn't very charming....
It is during these times, that even the most exciting and fun filled moments, strike us like a miserable and an un-necessary indulgence.
Such moments of happiness have a very sorry impact on our troubled souls, it does not really matter, what happiness is.
Everything turns gloomy, we fail to enjoy, even the most memorable moments, then again we embrace misery, this feeling of being lost, is another tangent to being miserable, it burdens us with pain, and confusion.
There a minor feeling of guilt, a feeling of being sorry for ourselves sets in, nothing seems right, no one can take their place, and no one else would do substitute people we lost.
Rage takes over, anguish threatens our emotions, and anger prevails. Sometimes we live in denial and complicate our live, we fail to accept, but all that takes time. Time is not the luxury we have, we are missing someone in our lives and we want hem here with us. We do not have them, for circumstances created by us, in a way it’s good that we blame ourselves, as we were the ones involved in the first place.
It does not have to be our fault, but then, at that point and time, when things got ugly, we were driven by our own emotions, and reactions from outer sources, drove us to this state. We just need to accept it.
There are a lot of things people go through in different forms of relationships, a lot is shared and exchanged, and one gets so used to being with that person or a plethora of people for different reasons, that the failure to indulge in their company actually pains the innermost souls of our spirits.
And I call that being hurt, forget the emotional side that side will always prevail, we are humans, but an immaculate state of confusion, of not knowing what to do,
where to go? How to handle a situation so delicate....
Well, we all go through such profound pain in our lives, but it is only we who can handle it, if we are lost, we need a distraction.
That is one solution, we need to distract our minds, we need to cleanse our souls and brighten our spirits, for that we need, and something called hope.
Hope keeps us alive; it brings in light and promise.
Time is the best healer, it will heal the wounds that will leave scars, it just means to make us strong, and by us I mean the spirit within us. We ought to be grateful to our lives that we get to experience pain and misery, that helps us appreciate what we have right now,
and that is important.
Having nothing in our hands, is quite a mess, and that hits you so hard, the spirit inside you is torn apart, and that is the worst feeling, and that is the feeling of being lost.
But then again, there is light at the end of the tunnel, there exists Hope and we must believe in it. I do.....
And you should as well, no matter what happens in life, we need ourselves to be in peace, our minds at rest, and our emotions at ease, maybe it’s not easy, but maybe we can reach the modern say salvation.
Distraction and hope will help us and guide us to that level of happiness, so let’s all believe that what happens in life happens for the good.
Let’s enjoy it while it lasts.
